You Can Help
Patria Soli is a non-profit art project. We simply hope to help communities.
We are hoping to create a network of people who can participate in this soil delivery project between the U.S.A. and other countries or within the U.S.A. You can join as a sender or a receiver of soil*. We are also looking for people who would like to have help with facilitating end of life conversations. The following are various ways that you can participate.
* It can be top soil, such as sand, small rocks, and shells.
Soil Senders
1). Becoming a Stand By Sender
Stand by senders will ship soil when somebody requests soil from senders' towns. Please follow our Instagram by clicking the icon at the bottom of this page. We will post a call looking for a person who lives in a particular place.
If you live in a place where we have requested soil from, please contact us by filling out the Sender Form. Once we receive the online form, we will ship you a package with a bottle and a pre-paid, addressed mailing box. Simply put soil in the bottle and ship it with the box. (If you live outside the USA, you will be receiving a cloth bag instead of a bottle to follow the legal guidelines.)
2). Gifting Soil to Anyone
If you would like to gift soil from your place to anyone, we will accept your contribution and store it until someone requests soil from your place. In this way, soil will be delivered to the receiver sooner. We will notify you when your soil is delivered to somebody.
Please fill out the Sender Form. Once we receive the online form, we will ship you a package with Ziploc bags and a pre-paid, addressed mailing box. You can simply fill the bag with soil and ship it back to us. (If you live outside the USA, you will be receiving a cloth bag instead of Ziploc bags to follow the legal guidelines.)
3). Sending Soil to a Particular Person
You can send soil as a gift to someone you know. A surprise gift might be an interesting idea, or this might be helpful if you wish to start the end fo life conversations with our help.
Please fill out the Sender Form. Once we receive your online request, we will follow up with information about when you might expect to receive your soil. We will be in touch with you.
Soil Receivers
1). Requesting soil from us
If you are interested in receiving soil and/or having help facilitating an end of life conversation, please contact us by filling out the Receiver Form. Once we receive your online request, we will follow up with information about when you might expect to receive your soil. We will be in touch with you.
2). Requesting soil from somebody you know
If you would like to receive soil from somebody you already know, you can still request it. This might be helpful if you would like to have our help or a chance of starting the end of life conversations with your family members. Please fill out the Receiver Form. Once we receive your online request, we will follow up with information about the next step.
